Autodidact artist born in Montreal in 2000. My parents immigrated to Canada in 1996, making me a second generation issued of Haitian immigration.

This year, I’d love to exhibit some of my creations and find a community of artists with whom I can relate, learn and share.

My inspiration takes root from a mixed cultural heritage, and a confusing sense of identity.

Did you know a voodoo doll was once a medical tracking tool? When imperialists decided Black healthcare providers were prohibited to read or write, they built small figurines for their patients and put a pin on the body zone discussed in treatment. A record kept in plush and thread, while whole nations accross the world were forced to assimilate a new religion and a new hiearchy. These unique pieces you will see are part of my VooDolls series celebrating the ups and downs a confused gen Z.
